AI-powered surveillance cameras are spreading across America while communities are challenging massive data centers being built to support the artificial intelligence boom. Privacy, data collection, electricity, water and local control are now part of a national debate over how quickly this technology should expand and who ultimately controls it.
That debate intersects directly with questions Dr. J.B. Hixson has been asking for years.
J.B. has written extensively about biblical prophecy and centralized control, but researching the changes that have occurred since 2023 caused him to revise one of his own descriptions. What he once called a “totalitarian tiptoe,” he now calls a “dictatorial dash.”
In Fade to Black: The Rise of Global Tyranny, J.B. examines those changes through what he calls the seven spirits of the Antichrist. Our discussion moves from artificial intelligence and surveillance into some of the more controversial arguments in the book, including UFO/UAP disclosure, religious pluralism and the infrastructure he believes could eventually support the global system described in biblical prophecy.
I was particularly interested in J.B.’s warning to Christians about the pre-tribulation rapture. He holds that view himself, but he does not believe Scripture promises Christians will be removed before conditions become dangerous.
His argument raises a much more immediate concern for Christians: how difficult could conditions become before the rapture ever occurs?
J.B. also explains why the speed of change has become his greatest concern and why he believes Christians should be paying much closer attention to what is developing around them.
