Their Day is Coming

I’m sure that by now, you have all seen the disgusting, irreverent Opening Ceremony at the Olympics, using a group of provocatively dressed drag queens standing behind a long table, appearing to recreate the Lord’s Supper.

And then there was Thomas Jolly, the “artistic” director for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games, who mocked God and displayed satanic rituals right to your face. He is currently being celebrated as a hero.

When Jesus prayed after He was brutally beaten and nailed painfully onto the cross, He knew it was His destiny as the ultimate sacrificial lamb for the sins of humanity. The Roman soldiers were just “doing their job,” nailing another criminal to a piece of wood to die for the crimes they had been convicted of doing. In part, His prayer was for the soldiers who did not know Him or know He was Son of the living God.

Big Difference

But the Olympic Committee, and all the big companies who fund and sponsor this pagan display of transgenderism and in-your-face satanic worship, DO know what they are doing. They are attempting to crush Christianity and Christian Catholics into submission, embarrassment, and silence.

What if the Committee had mocked Buddhism, which believes in inner strength and happiness, in an attempt to reach Nirvana? Or Hinduism, by mocking their stone idols and gods with elephant heads and multiple arms? Or had mocked Judaism and the rabbinic teachings of the Torah? Or especially, what if they had mocked Islam and Islam’s belief in Allah and the Quran?

PopulationEducation.org estimates the global population of Christianity at about 2.4 billion people, with Islam’s population at about 2.0 billion followers. The same site also reflects about 1.2 billion Hindus, about 500 million Buddhists, and about 16 million Jews.

The Committee broke its own rules. Article 50 of the Olympic Charter states that "no type of political, religious or racial demonstration or propaganda shall be permitted in any Olympic venue." Satanism is recognized as a religion in various contexts, although it comes in different forms with differing beliefs and practices. So, they could do any satanic symbolism, dance, ritual, or disgusting rite, but they would demand that a Brazilian surfer remove Jesus Christ from his boards (don’t know if he did it or not).

Why were Christians the target?

Taking a Stand

I’ve asked the question many times: When will the 100^th monkey show up to flip the belief in vaccines?  I’ve also asked the question, “What will be the tipping point, the ‘last straw’? When will the 100th monkey sin show up? When will God say ENOUGH.”

I know God is a loving Father, forgiving and long-suffering. We know from the Word, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9.)

We also know that God’s Day of Wrath will deal with all this evil fully and with finality. He will bring to judgment every sin. EVERY sin.

They think it’s cute to mock God, and they are getting away with something. They put Him down to make themselves look big, better, and authoritative. They’ve got it all wrong. Their day is coming. I would not want to be in their shoes in the presence of the Lord.

In the meantime, we need to take a stand.

Boycott the Olympics, the channels the games are airing on, and all of their financial sponsors. Somehow, we have all collectively rolled over and assumed the doctrine of “turn the other cheek.” After all, we don’t want to offend anyone or deny their right of self-expression. (eyes rolling). We forget that even Jesus showed righteous anger and flipped tables when sacrilege was overtly being exercised in the Temple.

I wish all the Christian athletes would walk out. Yes, I know they’ve prepared for this moment for years with thousands of hours of work and sacrifice, and many thousands of dollars in training and travel. Whom will they serve?

We will all have to face this type of decision in the not-too-distant future.

• Get the Mark or no more ability to buy-sell-trade food or to have housing.

• Get the Mark or no travel.

• Get the Mark or no healthcare.

• Agree with the government’s propaganda or no access to the internet

• Live in a 15-minute city or no employment.

• ...and on and on.

We are living in Satan’s last days. Since the day of his fall from heaven, he has been roaming throughout the earth, going to and fro (Job 1:7), looking for humans to snatch into his world and away from God. He’s been given an open door by humanity; he’s been invited in, and he charged through the door. He is now on a rampage to sweep as many into his harvest as possible.

Don’t give him even a tiny toehold in your life. Rebuke every song, video, television program, TicToc clip, X-message, etc., that allows satanic messages and symbolism into your phone, your house, your mind – or into the minds of your children. Now is the time to step further into your faith than ever before.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Abba Father, we cry out, How long . . . how long . . . how long . . . how long? God, where are you when we need you? How long will this go on?

David's cry in Psalm 13 applies to us, “How long? LORD, will you forget us forever? How long will you hide your face from us? How long must we struggle in our souls at night and have sorrow in our hearts during the day? How long will the Enemy rise up against us?”

Father, we are grateful for Your mercy. We cling to You in the midst of this degrading world. Hold us close. We stand on Your Word as a promise, a contract, that we have made with You, that You will never leave us or abandon us. As long as we cling to You, You are always there. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, thy will be done. Amen.
