Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

“...My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Do you ever feel like your faith is being endlessly challenged? Every day is another hurdle? Each leep is higher than the last? Do ever wonder what God is trying to show you or teach you?
Over the weekend, on top of the financial, real estate, payroll, employee, and professional pressures I have been grinding through over the last few months, a new stress showed up: a health issue. Good grief. I guess I’m not as physically invincible as I thought.
I’ve spent much of the day in serious prayer. What is it, Lord? What am I doing, or what am I NOT doing that You wish me to do? How am I being, or NOT being, that You call me to be? Where do You want me to go or NOT go?
He hasn’t (yet) provided the anwer(s), but I know He will if I proceed in faith and I am not afraid. I have to trust Him with outcome and trust in His wisdom. It’s what we must do every day, with every area of our lives.
Today’s prayer
Dear Father, I trust that You are always with us, through every challenge. Lord, we are committed to the work You have given us to do and we will strive on, no matter what it takes and no matter what the enemy puts in our way. Lord, we do our best; but some days, the tests are more difficult than others. Be with us; heal us; take away our burdens; You say in Your word to cast all our worries on You (1 Peter 5:7). Why? Because You care for us and You watch over Your children. I pray for healing and restoration for myself and for all those who are here with us today and forevermore. We ask in the name of the Lord, this or something better. Amen
Bless your heart! My husband and I moved two years ago to a new home. . near an incredible Bible teaching church. . .our walk with the Lord has strengthened. .AND so have the challenges ...We have been sued (erroneously). . had issues with the 55 development we are in. . I have been proudly kicked off Facebook several times ...and yes it has taken a bit of a toll on our health. You will laugh at this and understand. . the other night when I couldn't sleep I mentally walked through every room of this precious home we KNOW THAT GOD HAS LED US TO and prayed in each room "I ask in the NAME OF JESUS that SATAN get out of each room by name. . ..and when I was done with the house to get out of our neighborhood. . .to get out of our church and then slept like a baby. An Interesting note: our church is thriving and our Pastors wife is so sick she has to take a year off from ministry and every elders wife is struggling. . .so prayer is needed . . we are at war. . .and you dear Dr. Tenpenny have been and will stay at the top of my prayer list. . .I will add health to my constant prayer of safety around you.
