Psalm 91:7
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Two weeks from tomorrow, Donald J Trump will be sworn into office, and the many fights for confirmation of his nominees will begin.
The internet is swarming with many different hypotheses of what may happen over the next 14 days to disrupt the return of Trump as commander-in-chief, something the overwhelming number of American people voted for. We recently been through these events:
We’ve experienced weather manipulation and massive destruction from Hurricane Helene.
We’ve seen two assassination attempts against Trump.
Two assumed terrorist attacks, one in Louisiana and one at Trump Tower in Las Vegas.
We’ve seen swarms of unknown drone sightings along the East Coast
In California, as of December 30, 2024, a total of 8,018 wildfires have burned a cumulative 1,049,963 acres this year, including the Franklin Fire that burned more than 4,000 acres in Malibu, starting around December 10th.
Wyoming saw massive fires: In August, the Remington Fire burned close to 200,000 acres and then in October, the Elk Fire became the largest wildfire in the 127-year-old Bighorn National Forest’s history — five times larger than anything in the record books.
Recently, most of the entire country was smothered for 2-3 days in a chemical fog.
We’re constantly hearing about another pandemic, with mask mandates and threats of vaccine mandates.
The threat of nuclear war has loomed large for the entire year.
...and those were the obvious threats that circled in the news. There were probably many more.
America got what she was looking for – a political savior - similar to when the Israelites demanded a king. Yes, we have hope for a better four years than we had over the last four. But as Steve Bannon said on his January 2, 2025, broadcast of WarRoom:
“President-elect Donald J. Trump’s incoming administration faces monumental challenges from day one. He described the deeply entrenched opposition within Washington, D.C. as a “cold-blooded regime” that still controls the levers of power in America. The administrative state and deep state apparatus won’t roll over. They control the most powerful nation in the history of the earth, built up over decades. They don’t care about Donald J Trump’s swear in and swearing an oath to defend the Constitution.”
Our embattled country and hopes of freedom – freedom of speech, freedom to travel, freedom to choose the type of healthcare and education we want, and more – are being slowly stripped away in a death by a thousand cuts.
Now more than ever, we need to stay connected to the Word, pray without ceasing, and trust in the Lord, no matter the outcome.
Today’s Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, today we come to You with a bit of anxiety due to the unknowns swirling around us. At every turn, another distraction takes our eyes off of You. Lord, even though we may not be able to make a bit of difference in the chaos within our immediate sight, we know we can make a HUGE difference through our prayers placed at Your feet. Father, give Your children the bread they request. Be the Food of Life that we need so that no matter the outcome we face, we know we will be with You, here or in eternity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Well stated. I am shocked about the devastation listed in 2024! 🤯 Family and friends are being called to repent and receive a relationship with Christ Jesus freely. He came the first time as a suffering servant who willingly laid down His life so that we may believe in Him and His Father, God. God raised Him from the dead where He sits at the right hand of God today. People around the world have been greatly warned, especially since 2020, but long before the scamdemic. Trump is not Jesus, yet I pray the Holy Spirit guides Trump. As a Believer, I will pray for our leadership here on earth, especially Mr. President Trump. The disasters we are experiencing today, a taste of birth-pangs, I believe is a warning of things yet to come in power and swiftness for those who remain. Prayer is FIRST as God wants to hear from us. Reading the Bible draws us closer to Him in order to build our relationship with Him. Allow Him to direct our path; lean in and do what He is calling each of us to do for His glory and our peace. Bannon is correct; buckle up and put on your whole armor which includes PRAYING.
Have a great week, Dr. Tenpenny.
Amen, Standing firm on his promises. Thank you Dr. Tenpenny for this prayer. Blessings
