When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.

America—and the world—stands at a critical crossroads.

The outcome of the election on November 5, 2024, will resound through history, shaping freedoms fundamental to our lives for decades to come. Our economic freedom, healthcare choice, freedom of speech, freedom of movement, and the right to decide where we live and work is on the line. And we’re on the brink of war. Do you see it?

Watching clips from recent Democratic rallies, with crowds cheering for open homosexuality, gender transition in children too young to drive a car or join the military, and, disturbingly, even normalizing pedophilia by calling these criminals Minor Attracted Persons (MAPs), makes me nauseous because it is a direct affront to You and Your Word.

Watching those who demand the right to murder the unborn child, the open calls from figures like John Kerry and Hillary Clinton to suppress free speech, and the outright disdain for Christianity create a deep unease. By now, the whole world has witnessed the brazen blasphemies coming from her and her supporters.

At their core, is THIS really what millions of Americans believe?

Or are they massively uninformed?

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano posted an Open Letter to American Catholics online on October 22. It is direct and to the point. Here’s a portion of it:

...In this coming electoral round, you are not simply called to choose between two candidates who happen to be on different political sides but who both nevertheless have the common good at heart in compliance with the Constitution and the Law. No; in this election, you must choose between two radically opposed ways of conceiving the government of your Nation: you are called to choose between democracy and dictatorship, between freedom and slavery.

Candidate Donald J. Trump, while certainly taking some seriously critical positions that a Catholic cannot agree with, represents for us, dear American faithful, in this specific historical moment, the only possible choice to counter the globalist coup that the woke Left is about to implement definitively, irreparably, and with incalculable damage for future generations.

I repeat: the choice is between a conservative President, who is paying with his very life for his fight against the deep state, and an infernal monster who obeys Satan. For a Catholic, there can be no question: voting for Kamala Harris is morally inadmissible and constitutes a very grave sin. Nor is it morally possible to abstain, because in this war declaring oneself neutral [ie by not voting] is allying oneself with the enemy.

You can read the full letter here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you read it, if you care at all about the future of this country. I would even print it out and stuff it into mailboxes on your street with HARRIS signs in their yard.

At the same time, we must follow the words of the psalmist:

Psalm 146:3 ESV  

Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

Trump is not our king. Jesus in our King. Be sure to keep that distinction clear.

Christians, put on the full armor of God every day, not just during difficult times. Make it a habit to pray Ephesians 6:10-18 over your life, your family, and your business every day, for difficult days are coming.

Vote for the best interest of the country and the world. There are no perfect candidates unless Jesus was on the ballot.

Today’s prayer

Dear Father God, America is in trouble. We have tossed out Your laws, Your instructions, even all 10 Your 10 Commandments under the bus, but especially the 6th commandment: Thou Shall Not Murder. More than 63 million abortions are estimated to have taken place in the U.S. since the Supreme Court's 1973 when Roe v. Wade granted federal protections for murder of the unborn.

Lord, each of these infants was a gift from You. And now, people in this country say that they have a right to eliminate that “clump of cells” from their body - as a choice. Lord, we feel Your sorrow. Even more, we feel Your rage. How much longer will You withhold Your judgment on this Nation, a country that was once “one Nation under God” and now is a nation without a moral compass and no longer fears You, but every definition of that word.

Lord, the tail is wagging the dog. There are many here who love You and serve You. You were willing to save Sodom and Gomorrah if 10 righteous people could be found. (Genesis 18:23-32). Lord, there are more than 10 here in America, but we need to put You back in the center of our society. Please help us. Show us the way. Give us righteous, God-obeying leaders. Purge the vile controlled traitors at every level of our government and civic leadership. Stand with Your elect lord. Protect us as we continue to worship You. We humbly ask this, in Jesus’ name.
