Your honesty lifted me today since I feel this way as well. There is much darkness that surrounds us on a micro & a macro level. Please know that I value you & what you share here on Substack. If the son of God suffered on earth then so do I. I will see you in heaven, Dr. Tenpenny & we will recognize each other without the marks of struggle.
In a VERY VERY dark hour, I heard the words”you are never alone”.. and I saw in my mind the kindest eyes of Jesus..We never walk alone but we are being sorely tested at this time..this is an epic struggle of good against unspeakable evil..God only chose the strongest for this mission. Fight on, never give up and never give in.
Sally, I've seen His eyes that you speak of. That image gives me the strength to carry on.......He does chose the strong ones never giving us more than we can handle. These are evil times. Put on the your spiritual armor!! THE BELT OF TRUTH, BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, SHOES OF PEACE, SHEILD OF FAITH, HELMET OF SALVATION, SWORD OF THE SPIRIT,.
Almighty God, I ask for wisdom in these dark times, in Jesus' name I pray, amen.
This happened many years ago and has carried me ever since..thank you for your kind words..I believe God and WE will prevail in this dark battle, we are very close to victory but it might be a wild ride for the next year or so. As they say and it seems to hold true “It’s always darkest before the dawn.”
Dr Ten Penney, it took great courage for you to speak out at a time when many were afraid..sometimes we don’t know at the time of great testing what the lesson is..it might be many years down the road..and sometimes God says no..soldier on is all I can say. I hope all these words help you find the way.
Dearest Sister Dr. Sherri, You have surely been an instrument of God's mercy and care for His people. Your deep devotion and perseverance have given others courage and strength. My deepest respect and thanks for you. Surely the LORD will hold you.
Thank you for sharing your difficult circumstances. So many women in my bible study have been struggling with multiple things for a long period of time. We try to be consoled with the promise that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. We pray and wait Lord Jesus. I am going to share your prayer with our group because it is so relevant. Thank you for all that you are doing. Praying for courage ,strength and hope from our Almighty God to guide you through your trials. God Bless!
There is so much currently weighing on us collectively as a nation. Add in individual struggles, and the overwhelm feels sometimes smothering. Thank you for your gracious expression of unsettled disquiet. I feel the same. God bless you.
Thank you for writing this... you summed up so well many of the thoughts and feelings with which I resonate. These are times of intense spiritual warfare and the enemy wants to isolate us and make us feel alone and hopeless. My daily comfort is in knowing all of this madness is under God's sovereign control. My job is to keep my faith strong and my eyes upward. I am praying for you. You have inspired me like few others these last several years and I thank you and ask God's strength and perseverance be showered on you.
Singing cheerful songs to a person with a heavy heart is like taking someone’s coat in cold weather or pouring vinegar in a wound.
Yes, I think we all have really down moments and wondering if the Lord is listening. We are living in evil times but hopefully not for very much longer. Stay the course Dr. Tenpenny. You have been such an uplifting person for me. I will be praying for you. 🙏🏻 Nita
Thank you for sharing your thoughts in these dark days, I have enjoyed following you since the very early Plandemic days. I too have been going through extremely difficult times and clinging as never before to the Lord and the promises in His Word. A book that has given me great hope and encouragement, not for the first time, is The Red Sea Rules by Robert Morgan. I will send you a copy to your Middleburg Heights address if that's ok and pray it will lift your spirit and reinforce your assurance of God's gracious and merciful sovereignty in your life.
Our youngest daughter has a friend whose Mom makes the best egg rolls ever. This morning I asked my husband if I could ask this friend if her Mom could make us egg rolls for our anniversary tomorrow. This evening I got a messenger note from said friend telling me that her Mom was making egg rolls tomorrow and wanted to know if we wanted any! Yes, please.
I encourage everyone to read God’s Hostage, by Andrew Brunson. He was falsely arrested in Turkey, and as a missionary he always felt he would be fine with persecution because he had read so many stories about great men and women of faith who had been imprisoned and felt closer to God, etc and all these incredible stories. Well, he didn’t feel God at all, and actually almost lost his faith. I love his honesty in the book. Thank you for your honesty too. Sometimes, this world is just plain hard, even for believers! I heard Dr Erwin a Lutzer from moodymedia once say it’s much better for Jesus to see us, than us to see Jesus. He was talking about the disciples in the boat in the storm, and how they couldn’t see Jesus, but He could see them. Thankful, He sees us! And, thankfully, we are just passing through, and this isn’t our Home! Praying we all finish the race strong🙏🏻
“Better for Jesus to see us, than for us to see Jesus.” Indeed, something to remember, thank you. In very troubling circumstances, I have a tendency to “duck and cover,” making it difficult to keep my eyes on Jesus. It’s reassuring to be reminded that Jesus sees us and loves us. I’m teaching my young girls (6 and 5 yrs) to ask God to fill their buckets with what they need to face their immediate need. Often, they ask for “brave.” He gives them just enough for that need. Dr. Sherri, I pray that God will pour into your bucket exactly what you need to get through even the next few minutes, that He will sustain you, and that He will give you peace, hope, and assurance that He is there WITH you in your darkest hour.
Sending love Dr Tenpenny. I was pleading with my parents not to get this vax, my uni biology book, the chapter on mRNA etc ... But I sent one of your videos, that was the final bit of information to get the message across the line, and they both didn't get the vaccine. Small story, but one of many around the world I would think. You've saved countless lives, for that we are all eternally grateful. This is why I'm hoping the forces of the universe send you the right kind of luck you so richly deserve. I know it's small comfort when down a dark hole, but please be lifted by the fact you already have millions of strangers who are indebted to you, and love and care about you. Hoping that things get better real soon Dr Tenpenny 🙏
Miss Sherri, May the Lord bless you, and keep you;
the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn His face toward you,
and give you His peace.’
Numbers 6:24-26
May He give you assurances in your heart, and stability in your financial situation, and discernment, with which to utilize wisdom in your decisions, with a clearly thinking mind, and yes, Lord, how we yearn for peace like a river, knowing that You are visiting the hearts and minds of all our loved ones, even as they sleep, so that they will easily acknowledge that this
‘world’ has nothing of any lasting value whatsoever to offer, or try to hold onto. Please, Lord, encourage those who are reluctant to crawl down from their thrones, to die unto this world, and unto themselves, and please Lord, ‘find each of us, along with all our loved ones, worthy to escape the ever increasing wickedness that is coming upon this crumbling world, so that we may be able to stand before the Son of Man.’
Luke 21:36
In the precious, and Mighty Name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!
And AMEN!!
Lord, place each one of us on high alert, so that each of us will maintain the presence of mind to ‘watch, and be ready,’ as none of us knows the day nor the hour, but only the Father knows. Help us Lord to be watching us

You have been a bright beacon for many, Sherri. Thank you for this letter! YOU are not alone, not at all. Stay strong....everyone, stay strong.

Very hard times indeed.
Here’s a “sign” for me.

Precious Dr. T,
Thank you for being real, & trusting us with your genuine feelings. Your beacon shines
bright, reassuring countless strangers & familiar friends. I woke up on the 8th aware of
its meaning to you. Your journey is a beacon for me.
Thank you for sharing today's feelings so honestly in this message. Our Lord is faithful, & your
faithfulness toward Him is not lost - merely building toward a plan He's put in place for something
remarkable & beyond whatever may have met your expectations.
Something God-Ordainedl awaits. I know God watches over you tenderly.
Much love + my prayers.
