Thank you so much for such a beautiful reminder of how we ought to handle these trying times. You’re absolutely right when you said the revelations we are witnessing can be overwhelming. Like a train wreck we just can’t look away from. We already know these things have to happen, yet it doesn’t hurt any less. Reminding myself to trust Gods process and lean not on my own understanding has kept me sane.
I often wish I could run away to an island, disconnect and live off grid. But I struggle with the thought of God being displeased because now is the time to fight back against the demonic forces in this world. To help those who God has called find their way back to Him and not hide my lamp under a table or bury my treasure waiting for my Master to return.
Wrestling with my flesh while watching the world as I once knew it crumble is a surreal experience. But this is what we’ve been preparing for right?
Praise God!! Thank you for this today my friend, my Sister-in-Christ, you have NO IDEA...how I needed this, at this moment ,on this day..in this hour, at this second.. But God did. But...God....halleluiah! Blessed! You be blessed!
Thank you, Dr. T, -------- LORD, I pray this day, help us all to stay the course. Help us to do what You have called us to do. Help us all to trust in You, more each day "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!" Isaiah 26:3 NLT Help us not to worry, "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1 NLT, thank you LORD, in JESUS Name we pray ... Amen."
(and you were one of the first) started speaking courageously the truth about COVID-19. All I can humbly say is I thank our God for putting you in the position He did “for such a time as this.” 🙏🏼May God continue to guide you, bless you ,“make His face to shine upon you and give you peace.”
Thank you my Sister in Christ. This is so true. Nothing is by chance with Him. As I type this I see that the moment I read your Substack and the comments by your readers that I must say this. One thing I would like to say is we are ALL in a position of service to our LORD. That service is faith. He has placed us right where He wants us to be. Whether we are home taking care of loved ones or whether we are out in the world fighting the big fight (as you have been Dr. T) we must ALWAYS proclaim His goodness in ALL circumstances. We MUST keep the faith to press on. Philippians 3 is a great reminder of who we all USED TO BE and who we are now.
Our circumstances bring us to "now."
This year especially has been a walk of faith for me as I watched my husband almost die and then God's miracle and His perfect timing saved him for a 2nd chance at life. During that time I could have crumbled, but I felt God's strength. This was my test. Keep the faith. Never let Him go. Even my husband was amazed at His strength in himself while recovering from a very serious surgery. Even all the wonderful medical providers were amazed and pleased at his recovery. God blessed us with a believing doctor who prays with other believing doctors over their surgeries every day. God was in that surgery and I knew it! Our prayer warriors were bringing the spiritual army around us to protect us from evil thoughts and attacks by the one who wishes he was God. I knew that too.
That was my service for Him. My faith. Now my husband and I are looking at what His call is for us in the not-so-distant future. I pray this for ALL of us as we ride this roller coaster and watch His plan unfold.
May God bless you all and may He give you Wisdom and Discernment as we press on towards Home.
Beautiful testimony - thank you for sharing. It's so true - God has a purpose for everyone's life. It my not be on a stage or on a big platform... It may be sharing an encouraging word with a bathroom cleaner at the airport or expressing gratitude to someone who helps you at the grocery store. Pledge to serve Him each day when you get out of bed in the morning. He'll open the doors for you, and you'll be doing exactly what He asks you to do. Amen.
I believe the Lord wants me to post this on how to cast out a demon or demons as it can be very easy to do. Because the one who needs the help to be set free, casts them out. We are only the conduit to their being set free. The Lord taught me this truth and I pray it’s for those who understand and work through this verse. James 5:16. James 5:13-15 is for physical healing, 16 is for spiritual healing. A Christian brother or sister needs to acknowledge they have a spiritual problem in their life through making wrong choices in their life or generational. Though the list can be very long how we can be tormented by darkness. Once that person, realizes they need help, they need to ask the Lord to send some one to them or a pastor that understands how to set a person free. With James 5:16, there’s no outbursts, no circus by the enemy. Confession is the key to being set free. The prayer partner is there to help, and will need to ask questions, “you told me, you have great anger for that person? Let’s pray for you to forgive that person.” As the person is praying, the Lord will (if the prayer partner is truly connected to the Lord) show them a deeper depth of the issue of anger. Because we have to go to the root of the problem or the demon will still have a hold on that person.
An example. One, hot summer day, my wife asked me to dig a hole to put in tulip bulbs. No problem except the place she selected was a mass of roots! The first roots were thin and were easily cut out and cast away but as I got deeper, the roots were closer, thicker! What I thought was going to be an easy job, turned into a sweat, bathed effort. That’s when the Lord spoke to me very clearly. “This is how sin works in a persons life. At the beginning, the roots are thin and easily taken out but as the person goes on in their life, refusing to change their way of living and thinking, the root system becomes deeper, thicker and much harder to cut loose.” I stood there and my spiritual eyes were opened to His teaching.
As we work with the person who now realizes, “ I’ve got a serious problem and need it taken care of”; is on the road to recovery. As the prayer partner helps the person to go deeper to the very heart of the problem, the person asks forgiveness. Then the partner prays in agreement and commands the demon to leave. The demon MUST leave!
This could take a while as the person being set free will understand what is happening and goes further with their confessions and forgiveness. So often, at the end of a session, the person set free will say, “I feel lighter!” Because darkness is not only a spiritual burden, it’s also a physical burden. My greatest joy is to see some one set free because I also have been set free and freedom in Christ is the Key to life.
Thank you again, Brian. "When two or more are gathered together in His name..."
A friend sent me this video. I just started to listen to it (hard for me to set aside time for long videos) but you or others may find this interesting, informative and helpful: It's an interview with a priest who is an exorcist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFIKpoIt4aE
The old adage, “I had to sleep on it” happened for me about the video link about casting out demons. I give all glory to the Lord for what I’m going to write to you. Because the Lord will guide us in His way of knowledge and understanding the times.
I’m familiar with this doctrine that was presented in the video. As you know my stance on casting out demons. No circus or wild action. Only love, caring to lead one of God’s children to be set free. Mark 16:17 “Those who follow Me will cast out demons”.
When Jesus cast out demons, there was never a fight going on, they left. Though, some might say, “That’s because He is God”. Absolutely. And we have God living us now and forever. We have the same authority if we believe and Trust in the One who lives within us.
I want to be careful as a firestorm could erupt by a certain religion that seems to thrive on controlling the flock? The way to control the flock is by making it so ‘scary’ that no one but the leaders of the flock would dare to do such a bold work for Christ and the one afflicted?
For, shortly into the video, we are told, “It took six men to hold down a woman who only weighed one hundred and five pounds! Really? I believe it did take six men because they pushed the matter/problem. They didn’t lay the ground work but acted in their own wisdom?
Jesus would’ve warned us if we would be in danger when we began to cast out darkness. I don’t believe His disciples had a battle. When they came back to report to Jesus, they were amazed at God’s power and were full of joy when the demons fled.
My Dear Sister in the Faith. As you know and more so than most Christians, we are in a spiritual battle for the Last Days. When we stand strong for Christ, we can’t lose. Yes, our mortal body might take some hits. So did the Lord . He hung on the Cross and yet, He said, “Forgive them Father, for they do not know what they doing”.
We already have treasures in heaven, though, we don’t walk through this life to build up
treasures, we walk in obedience to the One who saved us from hell and darkness.
Keep walking the walk as you are truly a Warrior for Christ.
It's wonderful to see you share your insights on spiritual healing and casting out demons, guided by the wisdom of James 5:16. Your personal story and the analogy of the tulip bulbs truly illustrate the complexity of addressing sin and its deep-rooted impact on our lives. As you have mentioned, confession, forgiveness, and prayer are essential in this journey towards spiritual healing and freedom.
This process of healing and deliverance is a testament to the transformative power of God's grace. Scripture reminds us of the importance of confession and seeking forgiveness for our sins in 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." This verse underscores the promise that through confession and repentance, we can find not only forgiveness but also purification.
In addition to James 5:16, another scripture that emphasizes the importance of seeking guidance and support from fellow believers is Galatians 6:2: "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." As we walk alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ, we can help one another overcome the challenges of our spiritual journey, including casting out demons and finding healing.
These words are so needed right now, thank you, Dr. T. We are traveling in unchartered waters. Psalm 23 reminds me of our Good Shepherd. And, He is very, very good toward us.
Such a timely Prayer. I really enjoyed the encouragement. Especially the part you pray personally and ask to receive or better. Amen God always has better answer for us in His will💗💯🙏☝️
Dear Dr Tenpenny, Faith and Trust is what it is all about for His children. We are in a time of ‘faint not!’. A recent Christian movie came out called Nefarious. I watched the trailer and later a Christian sister asked me, “Are you going to see the movie”. “No, I don’t have to watch some thing that is a part of my life”. For the Lord has me dealing in the spiritual realm on almost a daily basis. Because I understand how to help His children be set free, so there’s a target on my back and anyone such as your self, who dares come against darkness and great evil. A couple weeks ago, while in bed and asleep, the bed began to shake a bit, woke up, and thought, “Oh, earthquake.” And went back to sleep. A short time later, the bed began to shake greatly and as the bed rocked back and forth, “Oh, okay”. As we can large quakes. Next moving went to a site for earthquakes. No quake? Texted a neighbor, no quake. Then, understood what was going on. Called a prayer warrior and we prayed the Blood of Christ and I took authority over the spiritual realm. This morning, a dear brother in the faith called. He’s married to woman who has fallen into serious witchcraft and she told him this morning, “ I’m going to a shaman and have him curse you!” He’s been married for thirty years and wants his wife redeemed back to Christ. So he takes beatings, cursing and abuse above anyone I know, would endure. So we prayed in Faith and in Trust God is working in our prayers. My friend gives me strength to carry on for other day because of what he endures to save his wife. Iron sharpens iron! We must sharpen our brothers and sisters in this time of raging darkness. We already have the victory, now it’s up to us to pull up our boot straps and walk forward into the battle. Our brothers and sisters are relying on us as we rely on them. May the Lord strengthen us for this day, as Jesus told us, “One day is enough.”
Thank you for your work and your amazing testimony, Brian. May God richly bless your strength and courage in Him. Strongly recommend this book: You Can Have Mountain Moving Faith: Practical Steps to Realizing God’s Promises in Your Life by Johnathan Wallace (I referenced it in my substack). It is powerful and powerfully affirming.
Amen and amen! Let us focus on spreading His Good News and being the light in all this darkness! Let us not be afraid, but to have courage&a sound mind! Do not be deceived! Thank you,?Dr. Tenpenny for your strength & leadership! God speed 🙏❣️💯
