He lost me when he said the flood wasn't global. That's absolutely not true. All the "races" came from Noah and his family. That can be proven genetically through mitochondrial DNA. The geology also proves it through the sandstone layers. Adam and Eve lived for hundreds of years and had perfect DNA. They obviously had way more children and those kids obviously married each other which wasn't genetically dangerous back then. His age of the earth is wrong too. Dating methods are based on unproven assumptions. It does affect the Gospel as there was no death before Adam's sin - you can't have thousands of years of death & disease before that.

I too was lost at there being no worldwide flood due to the fact that “blacks”, “Asians” etc are not able to come from “whites”. First off, we all came from only two people. Adam and Eve. (This includes Noah and his family) In Adam and Eve are all the different colors/ ethnicities/ races. We all have some of every color in us. In recent times there have been two “whites” giving birth to a “black” baby.

Also, I’m not sure where the idea that Noah and his family were “white” came from. While this was not said, it was implied when the guest said that it couldn’t have been a worldwide flood since Asians and “blacks”, etc couldn’t have come from Noah’s family. Hogwash! No disrespect, but it’s not even logical to suggest that.

I was super excited about the series. However, to go against what is CLEARLY stated in Gods Word…global flood, covered every mountain, no dry land anywhere until the dove didn’t return etc., I can’t trust the guest’s interpretations. None of us is perfect at interpreting scripture 100%, but when something so clear as a global flood is mistaken and that genetically all races aren’t shared in Noah and his family (and thereby Adam and Eve, through whom all races came), I can no longer follow this gentleman.

Dr. T, you are excused. You are searching to understand yourself. The guest is presenting himself as the expert and has failed. Dr T, you keep up the good work!!! Love what you do!

Adam and Eve story is a myth. Only represents the origins of the Hebrew people. Every ancient culture - and many predate the Hebrew story - have an origin myth. Also the Bible says “We shall make man in our image” - plural - no singular God. Elohim is a plural word.
