(Comment from my dear friend, Pastor Caspar McCloud)

In the past I have shared how the poet John Milton went blind when he was 44 years old and he dictated his entire book called Paradise Lost to friends and relatives and anyone he could get to write something down for him.

His entire epic Paradise Lost has a total of 10,550 lines of poetry. Just because Milton himself did not put pen to paper, no one questions that Paradise Lost isn't solely his work.

The principle is similar, to our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural. Clearly, God Almighty is the Author of the Bible, and He used human agents as His “secretaries to give us the divinely inspired Word of God.

When I talk with New Agers I ask them what spirit wrote what they believe, as the Holy Spirit wrote what I believe. It often has helped lead them into salvation.

Thank you, Dr. T . . . GOD bless you!

GOD'S Word (THE BIBLE) is our most powerful weapon. (Ephesians 6:10-17)

(Put on all of God's Armor!)

"A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil." Ephesians 6:10-11 NLT

"Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:17 NLT

We have armor for Offense: the action of attacking someone or something.

We have armor for Defense: the act of defending from or resisting attack.

(Put on all of God's Armor!)

All Christians everywhere are standing on a spiritual battlefield. It cannot be seen by most, but the bible says this is occurring right now. We have adversaries, the devil, and his demons who do not sleep. They don't go on vacation or stop at any moment. They are determined to destroy us. The easiest way for them to succeed is to ensure you believe you don't need protection. They say you don't need armor to fight against them, and most importantly, leave your sword at home. It won't help, they tell you.

Everyone must ask themselves, would you ever go into battle unequipped to fight. What would happen when you discover you left your sword at home, and it's too late to return for it. Could you survive the fight without your sword?

"Jesus answered, "The Scriptures say:

'No one can live only on food.

People need every word

that God has spoken." Mathew 4:4 CEV

"When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them." Psalm 91:15 NLT

Sorts the wheat from the chaff, the sheep from the goats.

May we pray for lukewarm believers, less the Lord spit them out of His mouth. Let’s love them back into loyal discipleship.

Thank you for all of your hard work. Dealing with grief is much easier knowing my daughter is with the Lord in a new exciting realm, and I will see her again someday. I know it is not a myth or pipedream because I have studied people who studied the evidence. A very good website for that is www.reasons.org.

I personally believe the Bible is a literal account of the history of a particular group of humans, descendants of Adam. But you can be led astray by reading a translation of a translation of a translation. A lot skewed in the translations. Find a version in the original Hebrew and have a friend who knows Hebrew translate it for you. You would be surprised what is revealed. Alternatively, read The Naked Bible and also Gods of the Bible by Mauro Biglino.

Quite right. I have done my own crash course in Greek and Hebrew since 2020. I now understand how to read scripture properly and interpret the difficult parts. Biblehub is very good for original text I consider.

Most translations are rather poor in many places and some I consider plain wrong.

I have a word of encouragement for you, Dr. Sherri. You are a wonderful woman. The LORD Loves you and is smiling on you from heaven. He sees your works. Nothing goes unnoticed. Even the smallest detail is recorded in His books.

God is the protector of His word. Mere man and his beliefs do not alter the fact that the Bible is the WORD of God.

A relevant question is whether a person believes the Writers of Scripture were inspired as well as the translators. King James required his translation teams to submit to 15 edicts to follow while translating. The King James only crowd believes the translators were also inspired meaning King James (a politician) had to be as well.

The King James is flawed. Why we have a King James only crowd is suspicious. It is the devil's ploy to not get people to look closely at the original text which nowadays is accessible online and not as hard to understand if one has the right keys.

If individuals honestly study and solicit divine wisdom, he/she will “know the truth and the truth will make one free...”. Conversely, one who is convinced against his/her will is of the same opinion still. I don’t advise messing with God. After all He is the creator who spoke the worlds into existence. Hebrews 11:3 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

It’s Pure insanity to think that mere man, a created being, can deafeat God and His purposes. I’ll trust God any day.

The Bible is the inspired word of God. Secular humanism, higher criticism, and the adulteration of the scriptures buy modern “progressive” theologians have undermined the authority of the scriptures in the minds of many. If

I appreciate your writings and have followed you for years. But the typos , I feel, reflect poorly on you. I see they usually come towards the end, when you are probably tired, but especially on these topics accuracy is needed.

Keep up your great word, as you are obedient to the Lord.

STATEMENT-32:

"Which begs the question: if not the Bible, then what do these people believe in and trust for their spiritual guidance?"

You answer this question in the paragraph following it.

"God is the highest authority possible, so what He says is the final arbiter of truth"

John 1:1 tells us who the Word is, and the Word speaks to him who listens. Whatever the Word says to us will never be in conflict with the Divinely inspired Scriptures, aka; Bible. Nothing can change the Living Word, it is eternal, constant, never changing.

Ephesians 6:17 says; "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God".

I believe STATEMENT 32 needs much more clarification to clearly understand the responses.
