Your prayer is the first thing I read this morning. I have had struggles these past few years due to life changes that do not please me in the flesh, but my spirit has grown and my relationship with God is stronger. I am more focused and He has led me to a new church were I feel more connected. Life is not what I planned, but I know God is sovereign. I try my best to accept whatever the circumstance as well as praise Him for just being who He is and what He has done to carry me through. Now I feel a healthy detachment from the world and all the hubbub. I know God is in control of not just my life, but all that occurs on this planet and throughout the universe. He will raise up a leader of His choosing, which won't necessarily be my personal choice, but rather the one who is necessary according to His plan. I remind myself when I get down or overwhelmed: "All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." A childhood Sunday School song lyric just popped into my mind: "He's got the whole world in His hands." We need not fear, for we know how the story ends. The victory is in Jesus and has already been won! Blessings to you, Dr. T, and thank you for everything you have done.

His kingdom come, His will be done, amen.

This seems to be a season in which the enemy is allowed to have his way.

One day, he will be forever vanquished.

And, we all will have a front row seat.

My wife and j in are in a similar spot. We began a journey that He showed us and it has us stretched to the limits of who we thought we were. But Now unto him who is able to do exceeding abundantly far beyond all we could ever ask or think. Thank you for your transparency and your obedience to this difficult courageous call. We must continually encourage one another to good works. Thank you Sherry. You helped my sister before she passed and were so kind to her. She spoke so highly of you. Blessings. - Don and Barb.

I feel for you, Doctor, as I have faced times in my life where I just felt like giving up. I trudged forward, knowing that God put me here for a reason that only He knows.

I suspect my purpose is to help others and, in so doing, help myself as well.

I am thinking that His purpose for you is to spread His word and show others that you won’t be beaten into submission but strengthened with resolve. I pray that you succeed in all your efforts!

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking at the International Overdose Awareness Day here in Myrtle Beach. While last year I focused on my son, Patrick, and other victims of the drug epidemic, this year I focused on my own recovery. The theme was “If I Can Do It, You Can Too!”

If you’re interested, yesterday’s speech can be read or viewed at the links below.

Have a blessed day!

Thank you for beautiful message this morning. It ministered to my heart and soul.

I am new to the area, I am in Tampa for school, and I want to thank you for being a messenger of Abba Father's heart revealing HIS LOVE for us.... that is ETERNAL and everlasting, unfailing, never ending, all-consuming LOVE for us. Jeremiah 31:3

"I have loved you with an everlasting LOVE; I have drawn you with My Unfailing Loving-kindness."

I am here to support and lift you up in prayer!

Abundant Blessings!

DR Tenpenny , God usually has a way of speaking to us when we need it...your message was what I needed this AM. The song has helped me a great deal this morning. Not sure what HIs will is for me but I will keep my eyes ears and mind open to hear more from Him. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this beautiful message. You could be writing my own journey and my own words. What comfort to know that we are not alone. We live in increasingly difficult times, and the enemy's attacks build in strength. The powers of darkness seek to crush true believers. Your humble heart cry has ministered to this heart and I am deeply grateful.

As John the Baptist neared the end of his course, he also wondered how he ended up where he was and his faith wavered. The Lord Jesus knew where he was, had compassion with his plight, and praised him for having done what he was born to do. Still, John lost his head, but God had said in essence "well done good and faithful servant". So true that none of us will leave a mark on history, but our audience is only One.

Thank you for this comment. Yes, the outcome isn't what we wanted - or the way it's going to be - sometimes we "lose our heads." Staying the course, with eyes on Jesus, is like walking on a balance beam when your balance isn't that good. He steadies the way, even when we're sure we are going to fall.

I absolutely believe the IRS is targeting and persecuting Christians. Even small, insignificant people like myself. There are no checks and balances for them.

Yes, our lives are nothing but a giving back and surrender to God, Holy Trinity. We in our weakness must be reminded again and again! I praise and thank God for His mercy dealing with us.

Dr Tenpenny, God bless you on this journey back to Him. He is All. Sirach 43: 29-34 DRB

"Yes, we will continue to trust in His steadfast Love."

"Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed over him," lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me." Psalm 13:3-6 ESV

A simple prayer for Sherri and you all.

SURRENDER everything. "Thy will be done."

Oh LORD, who are we that You would speak to us even when we thought You weren't even listening to our pleas for help? When we had lost all hope, we heard a simple sound. It was a gentle song, and it was sung to us at the perfect moment, in a time when we least expected it. Your words were spoken just for us, saying, I know everything happening to you to the smallest detail. I will carry you through this storm. I will be by your side. Let Me care for you and solve ALL your problems. Now rest under the shadow of My loving care. Just let go, surrender everything, let go of it all!

Thank You, LORD!

GOD bless you!

Well said and well learned by many of us..and by some not so well. I thank you for your transparency and willingness to share what you are going through. I will pray for God's divine intervention in your life. He knows what is going to happen before you do and He leads in the battles when you let Him.

I came home last night from spending a week cleaning out all my mom's things and dealing with end of life, celebration of life services, and donating things that were held onto so tightly by someone who couldn't let go. I've spent the last 9 months dealing with her finances which she lost control of. But, her pride wouldn't let me in to help. I also found out she didn't present herself honestly to others.

We ALL hold onto something of this world. Some of us haven't quite figured out how to "Let go and let God". We ALL need to remember ...

Psalms 46:10

[10]Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!.

That's all we need...HIM!

You are in my prayers my Sister in Christ! God's blessings to you.
