I will be praying for you, Dr. Tenpenny! I just learned of your stroke, having assumed you were just taking time for self care. Thank you for sharing your wise insights even in this moment. You have been serving others and making sacrifices all these years and now is definitely your time to tend to yourself. Please continue to be good to yourself. I am tremendously grateful for you and all you have done for our health, welfare and happiness. Blessings!
Thank for sharing this. May our Lord bless you as you rest and heal. I started reading the Bible from Revelation going backwards earlier this year. I’m up to Ezekiel. It’s been amazing. I’ve attempted the other way a few times but have always given up. Reading the word of God truly gives us what we need every day to function as God intends. May you get a regular revelation of just how much He loves you!
ok, the words "minimal coffee" really scare me...BUT I , too, have a condition that warrants "cutting back" on coffee consumption...sooooooo I invented what I call "coffee water". Ya know when you buy or make a iced coffee/latte when finished the ice melting gives a few more sips of "coffee water" so I started MAKING coffeewater! I use organic, no acid decaf and make a weak pot. then in the frig it goes and I pour it over ice , add a little organic stevia and , viola, i can sip for hours...coffee addicts will find a way!
Lifting you up Dr. T, for Strength, Comfort, Focus & understanding to Help you know & feel the Love Jesus has in you💗🙏🏻You are a very Remarkable & Beautiful human being & i thank you for opening our eyes to sooooo many things in our world...you have brought much appreciated perspective to me💗Stay Strong & stay Thankful 🙏🏻💗
Back in 1993, spent three months living in a two man tent in a very remote place between two mountain ranges, Alaska and Talkeetna mountains. The Lord was cleansing me from a great amount of hurt and sorrow. At that time, there was a song, where a woman sang, “I cried a river of tears over you.” Those words always made me wonder, ‘How could a person cry a river of tears? Though, I was going to come to a place with the Lord at that amazing, beautiful place, where I’d understand those words. After camping there for a couple of months, found a flat rock with a layer of moss growing on top. I knelt on the rock and as I looked at this place of beauty. Began to talk to the Lord and this sense of His Love began to flow through me and for close to an hour, cried a river of tears of joy and thanksgiving to the Him. It was one of many turning points in my life to grow and begin to understand my relationship with the God of the Universe and His Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ..
Thank you, Sherrie. Thank you for taking care of yourself. I'm sorry it is so difficult. Thank you for all you have given to every one of us these past many years. I do not believe that God is calling you home, but rather calling you to rest - and to come closer to Him. You have been my rock and guiding light for so many years. Bless you for all you have done, all you do, and all you will continue to do in whatever way the Lord leads you. Savor this precious time with Him as He continues to guide you. I will keep praying for you. For your healing, your joy, and your closer and closer connection to God's love.
You are exactly where you need to be and you are doing exactly what you are supposed to do. Taking care of yourself. You have spent too many years warning and educating others, and you possibly weren't listening to your own warning signs with your lifestyle. So God said, "That's it my child. I will have to make you stop, so you can rest. I'm not quite done with you yet and you need to spend some time with Me." He does that to all of us at one time or another. Now it's your turn. I love your transparency as you share what you are going through during this trial. You are top notch with your honesty and you will get through this in HIS time. I know it.
Hang in there. You are a blessing and I pray for you daily. Your Sister in Christ. Rennae
It's amazing how much provision God gives us in Psalm 23. Each day one meditates upon it, new revelations come forth. It's alive, as always, and packed with abundant blessing!
