Excellent article Dr. Sherri!! About 15 years ago I started a meditation class to help reduce my stress at work. One of the primary things that I wanted to make sure about this meditation class and the practitioner was that she believed in God. As time went by, I realized she and many of the participants had a different version. They knew of my strong beliefs in God, and one day it became very apparent they were not walking with our Heavenly Father. I challenged them to start reading the Bible and truly understand that many of their beliefs were dangerous. When they challenged my faith, I knew that moment it was the last time I would ever go there. Another Christian participant also knew that day would be my last time. It was so clear that I had no doubt God gave me that incite and vision to see what they were doing was crossing too many lines. One gal had lost her son years earlier from an illness and she was unable to get to him before he died as he was out of town. She thought she could use all this new age Christianity to connect to him. I also saw how there were also very dark spirits that would surround others who had no faith attending these classes. It was not somewhere I wanted to continue. I warned the practitioner about what she was doing and she was too interested in growing the class rather than realizing she was dealing with something very dark spiritually. We had become very good friends, but she didn’t want to consider what I was warning her about. Several years later our pastor was going to hire her for a church led meditation. As I was on the church board, I warned him about these classes and that they should not continue them. Anything we did had to be Bible based, not the let’s put it out in the Universe mentality. Fortunately he followed my advice and thanked me for looking out for our church. It was the last time she ever came. This was a very timely written warning Dr. Sherri and one people need to see.

I woke up expectantly, - anxious to read what you would say to us this Sunday morning - hoping & praying it would be about this very topic. I am so grateful, dear Dr. Tenpenny. It's exactly what I

was hopeing you might cover. Narrow is the path. There are not many, there is but ONE. - & we shall rejoice in Him. In these perilous days, confirmation is especially valued & appreciated. I pray for your complete healing & restoration. Amen.
