Great article and timely for me, I must say. I have never felt secure, given how I was raised, this was understandable and I left home at 15 (with just a shoebox holding my things in it) and this was the Bible verse that I held onto as I left my no longer tolerable home;
KJV Isaiah 41:13
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
All we have is God, really. There is no safety in anything else. I have to cling to God. Maybe that was the blessing of having been born where I was. Looking to God alone.
Amen and AMEN! May the Good LORD Adonai be our Jehovah Jireh as He watches over us in our endeavors to serve Him. Even when we don’t know what we are doing that moment is considered a service to Him. A little act of kindness, a note of encouragement, a call just to connect, etc could be seen as a service for Him. I pray we all hear His nudging and at times even when He pulls us back. He is in the minutia - not me. God’s timing is perfect...always! 9 more days until my husband’s open heart surgery. God’s timing in this was also perfect. He gave us a cardio-thoracic surgeon who believes in the LORD! God’s got this!
I saw a video you did about the vaccines in early 2021 and prayed about them and was told not only “don’t get them” but “I made you in my image” and to continue to listen to you - I was mandated at my work to get the injection and refused and left
This email really spoke to me as I’m trying to find my way to do something new
Thank you. Reading the Bible is the way to understand what Jehovah God’s principles are. Those principles can guide us in our life’s decision making. Job is a wonderful example. When we draw close to him he draws close to us. Blessings
